Production designer
As a member of our team, you'll be responsible for assisting in the creation of websites, print material, advertising campaigns and anything else we throw at you. You possess solid experience in design, with demonstrated published pieces — we'd love to see your portfolio. You have the ability to take a concept and make it work in a variety of media. You have an extremely high tolerance for in-office discussion on typography and Photoshop disasters. You're a nose-to-the-grindstone kind of person, but you also know how to relax and have fun.
Here's some of the more technical stuff we're looking for:
- Successful completion of a post-secondary design degree or diploma from an accredited institution
- Minimum two years of design experience
- Solid knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with HTML and CSS an asset
- Javascript and Flash experience an asset
- Must be comfortable working with Apple hardware and software
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Client relations experience an asset

Bookkeeper/Receptionist
Ignition Media is looking for a full-time bookkeeper/receptionist to join our team. We're
growing and we need someone to help keep the ship on course. Bookkeeping is the main
skill requirement but we're looking for someone with a diverse skill set who can tackle numerous
challenges involved in running a successful company.
Along with solid accounting background (min. 2 years full-cycle),
the successful candidate will have a proven record of accuracy & possesses the following:
- Common sense
- Eye for detail
- Reliable and honest
- Above average problem-solving abilities
- Genuine desire to help out and pitch in wherever needed
- Good technical knowledge of accounting software (Simply Accounting)
- Experience with the following software: Sage Simply Accounting, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
